Did you have to wait a long time to get an ambulance when you had your stroke?

The Stroke Association PR team has been approached by a documentary film maker who is investigating ambulance waiting times. They want to see if any stroke survivors would like to share their story. These are the three criteria that they are looking for:

- A person who had a stroke in 2014/15 (in the UK)
- A person who had to wait a long time when you called emergency services
- A person who is happy to share their story on national TV

If this sounds like something that might be of interest, please email press@stroke.org.uk with ‘Ambulance services story’ in the subject line.

Include a short summary of your experience and your contact details so we can pass that information on to the documentary team to follow up.

At this stage they are researching the story so be aware that there is no guarantee that your story will be used.
