Thank you for everything you do to support us. From taking part in a fundraising event, to making a donation or volunteering with us, you’re enabling us to support more stroke survivors, carers and their families and friends.
Our fabulous fundraisers
More than 11,000 of you joined our Resolution Run events across the UK, helping us to raise over £628,000. On top of this, our remarkable London Marathon runners raised a record amount of £420,000.
We were also delighted to see more than 4,500 stroke survivors getting involved and celebrating their recovery at our Step Out for Stroke walks.
Our amazing volunteers
Our work wouldn’t be possible without the dedication of over 3,000 volunteers from around the UK, who give their time to support our charity, stroke survivors and those affected by stroke.
The wonderful staff at Well Pharmacy raised over £107,000 for our prevention work. Well’s pharmacists also supported us at blood pressure checking events across the UK.
A generous donation from Legal & General also enabled us to commission valuable research into the economic impact of stroke. This has supported us in pioneering a new era in stroke research.
Thank you to our family of philanthropists and trust and foundation supporters, including the Edith Murphy Foundation and the Kirby Laing Foundation. Together they’ve enabled us to expand our support to stroke survivors, invest in vital medical research, and to continue to build the next generation of stroke research leaders.
Our heartfelt thanks to all those who included a gift to the Stroke Association in their Will, enabling us to fund life-changing research and support.
