We provide information, support and advice to help those affected by stroke. We have a number of services for both stroke survivors and carers:

  • Our Stroke Helpline can help with practical and emotional support and is a place for information about stroke. You can call 0303 3033 100, lines are open Monday - Saturday (please visit our Helpline page for opening hours). You can also email helpline@stroke.org.uk.

  • We have a number of stroke support services across the UK, as well as many stroke clubs and groups that are run by volunteers. Find one in your area today.

  • My Stroke Guide is a trusted online support tool filled with easy-to-read information, advice and videos. The content will explain everything you need to know after a stroke. It also features an online chat forum where you can speak to other stroke survivors about their recovery and stroke-related topics.

  • Visit the What is stroke section of this website to access high-quality information about stroke and life after a stroke. It features our extensive publications library, where you'll find a range of useful guides and factsheets to download in PDF format or large print Word format, as well as other accessible formats and different languages.
