Fast and flat, the EMF Half Marathon is ideal for your first half marathon or if you're looking for a personal best. The 2018 event will take place on Sunday 27 May, the same day as the full marathon.

Starting on Potterrow in the grounds of one of the oldest Universities in the world, this incredible city centre start takes you through the very heart of Edinburgh. The route takes you past Greyfriars Bobby and the National Museum of Scotland as well as down the Royal Mile to the historic Holyrood Park. You then head East along the course and finish in Musselburgh.
