Run for Team Stroke

Join us and help support stroke survivors and their family by running the infamous Great North Run on Sunday 10 September.

Since 1981 the world's greatest half marathon (13.1miles) has welcomed over one million people across the finish line in South Shields and we're looking forward to seeing you in the next million.

The course

Starting in Newcastle upon Tyne the course is lined with supporters all the way from the iconic Tyne Bridge, right out towards the coast in South Shields. At the finish line runners will be greeted with congratulations, a free masseuse and plenty of tea.
