Take your place on the 10k or Half Marathon start line for the Stroke Association and be part of the buzzing atmosphere.
Each year, 20,000 runners line up for the 10k Half Marathon. Runners follow a stunning route past the city’s most famous landmarks, along the River Clyde and through some of Glasgow’s greenest spaces. Starting in the heart of the city, runners soak up the atmosphere and music all the way to the finish in Glasgow Green, passing the famous entertainment zones every kilometre.
Glasgow comes alive on the Great Scottish Run weekend and the people of the city will welcome you with open arms. It’s not to be missed!

Already have a place?
If you already have a Half Marathon or 10k place, secured directly from the Great Run website, and would like to run for us, please select 'Own Place' below when signing up to join #TeamStroke. There is no minimum sponsorship target, but anything you do raise will make a difference and you'll still get the same wonderful support as our charity place runners.
Why join #TeamStroke?
Everyone deserves to live the best life they can after stroke. Taking part in the Great Scottish Run means you are part of the team helping us to continue the work that we do, such as funding stroke support services and researching better treatments, care and rehabilitation.
Along the way, we will support you with training tips and fundraising advice, one-to-one support and you'll also receive your very own Stroke Association running vest to wear with pride on the big day.
