Join the Stroke Association for the UK’s leading 10 mile flat course running event. The route will take you through the iconic sights of Southsea and Portsmouth, including the Portsmouth Historic Dockyard, home of HMS Victory, Spinnaker Tower finishing on the seafront with staggering views of the Isle of Wight.
On Sunday, 20 October 2019, thousands of runners will be taking on the scenic route of Portsmouth for the Simplyhealth Great South Run 2019.
In 2018 Team Stroke had a strong team of over 100 runners and we would love to do even better this year, so please support us by signing up today.
Support we offer
Everyone deserves to live the best life they can after stroke. Taking part in the Simplyhealth Great South Run means you are part of the team helping to rebuild lives after stroke.
Our fundraising team is here to support and give you advice on fundraising ideas to help boost your target. Once registered you’ll receive information from us, giving you everything you need leading up to the event.
Gold bond charity place
We have a limited number of gold bond places available. Each gold bond place has a non-refundable registration fee of £25 and we ask you to raise a minimum sponsorship amount of £225. We'll support and advise you on how to achieve and hopefully exceed this amount. Please email email@example.com to apply for a gold bond place.
Already have a place?
If you already have a place and paid your entry fee through the event organiser, we'd love you to join our team as an Own Place runner. There's no minimum fundraising target, just raise as much as you can. You will still be a part of #TeamStroke and receive all the benefits listed above.
If you have not already purchased your place, then please do so via the Great Run official page and select Stroke Association as your chosen charity.
We look forward to welcoming you to #TeamStroke 2019!
