What is step out stroke?

Step Out for Stroke is the perfect opportunity for stroke survivors, friends and families to take part in a walk together. Each step you take helps raise awareness of stroke and vital funds for our work in supporting those affected by stroke.

The great thing about Step Out for Stroke is that you can walk at your own pace and in your own time. So, whether you walk just a few steps or the full mile, you’re doing something amazing. Don’t forget to encourage friends and family to enter too and join you on the walk.

What to expect on the day

Upon arrival at Halliwell Jones Stadium you will check in at our registration desk  which can be found through  gate 6 next to the shop.

The registration desk will be open from 10am. At 11am your step out will begin, taking you on a 1 mile (approx.) walk around the concrete area surrounding the pitch. You can walk round the stadium as many times as you like.

All our Step Out for Stroke routes are suitable for all ages and abillities, including stroke survivors.

How to get there
