Join Team Stroke
Take part in this iconic event as part of #TeamStroke, where all money raised goes towards helping everyone across the UK affected by stroke.
Entries for the 2018 London Marathon ballot have now closed. If you applied for a ballot place, you'll hear directly from London Marathon Ltd in early October if you've been successful or not.
If you do receive a ballot place, please use it to run with #TeamStroke and raise what you can for us!
There’s no registration fee or minimum fundraising pledge but everything you do raise helps fund our vital work. To let us know you'd like to use your place to run for us, fill in the 'own place' form at the bottom of this page.
To apply for one of our Golden Bond places please complete the charity place application form at the bottom of the page. Please complete the form as fully as possible to enhance your chances of securing one of our places.
We'll be in touch in July when we offer out our first round of places. Those who secure a place will need to pay a £50 registration fee and pledge to raise at least £2,000 for us.
What you'll get as part of Team Stroke
However you get a place, all runners who join #TeamStroke will receive:
- a running top plus iron-on letters
- regular emails with training and fundraising tips
- fundraising pack
- race-day support from our two kerbside cheer points
- post-race party with food, drink and professional massage
- support throughout from an experienced fundraising team.
We're here to help you get the best out of your fundraising - our team is bursting with ideas to share with you and happy to offer advice. We can provide fundraising materials to enhance and promote your fundraising activities, including balloons, information leaflets, posters and more.
