Programme

Attend workshops on managing finances after stroke, improving support for carers, shaping our policy positions and much more.

Accessibility

We know that attending a conference might not be easy or something that you have done before. We’ve carefully chosen a venue that’s accessible to your needs and designed a programme that allows you time to rest. We speak to those affected by stroke when making these decisions.

We have bursaries available to help towards the costs of tickets or travel. Please contact us for more information.

Venue

The UK Stroke Assembly is held in a modern, purpose-built conference centre located in the historic grounds of Crewe Hall, Cheshire. It has good transport links from the M6 and is just a mile from Crewe train station.

The venue is suitable for stroke survivors with accessibility for wheelchair and scooter users. Read more about accessibility at Crewe Hall.

Accommodation on Tuesday night is included in your ticket price. All rooms are en suite with either a shower over a bath, or walk in shower with a small five-inch step. Twin rooms are available upon request. A small number of fully accessible bedrooms with wet room bathrooms are available, and mobility aids can be arranged.
