About this service
If you or someone you care about has had a stroke, our Stroke Coordinator can provide practical advice, essential information and emotional support.
For example, we can offer advice around benefits, day centres, respite care, housing, transport, social activities and returning to work. Our service supports the whole family, with advice and emotional support for carers too.
This service offers:
- knowledge and information on stroke and its side effects
- access to social and peer support clubs and groups
- leisure and social activities
- signposting to other organisations that could help.
Who is the service for?
This service is for stroke survivors (including TIAs/mini-strokes) of any age, and families and carers of people affected by stroke, living in Bath.
