Description
Chesterfield Stroke Group is a volunteer-led peer support group, meaning that it is run by people who have had a stroke, or have a relative or friend who has had a stroke. The group is for stroke survivors and carers/ families of stroke survivors from the North Derbyshire area only.
We are a self-help group, we share experiences and support each other, someone has probably had a similar problem to the one you are having, as the saying goes;“We’ve Been There, Seen It, Got the T-shirt”
We usually have some form of activity within the meeting room, or someone interesting comes in to talk to us. Many times, we just talk to one another; we have so much to say that the time passes incredibly fast. We hope that you can come along and join us.
