Description

We've been welcoming people affected by stroke for over 30 years and are always able to welcome new members along with a family member or carer if they wish. Our group has around 50 members, who enjoy meeting for a coffee and catch up. We frequently arrange activities such as singing, quizzes and tabletop gardening as well as lunches - however these are entirely optional! Many members prefer to simply sit and chat with their friends.
It doesn't matter where you live, our doors are open to you if you can get to us - either on your own, through a friend or family member, or local volunteer driver service such as Maidenhead Care. If you live in the SL6 area, we can also look to help with transport on a case by case basis after you've joined.
We meet at the Ivy Leaf Club in Maidenhead town centre - plenty of parking on site, and a warm welcome awaits you. We'd love for you to get in touch. Please also visit www.maidenheadstrokeclub.co.uk Please contact us before attending to make sure we have a volunteer ready to welcome you.
