We've teamed up with Essential Aids, the UK’s online store for daily living aids, to offer our supporters a range of products that can help make everyday tasks easier.
After a stroke, you may find day-to-day tasks more difficult than before. The Essential Aids store includes hundreds of daily living aids and practical solutions covering different areas of life, from mobility and leisure to kitchen and bathroom products.
For example, there's a range of useful items for eating, such as adapted cutlery and non-slip mats, as well as gadgets to help with dressing and other everyday tasks.
Donations from Essential Aids
If you’re buying as a stroke survivor or on their behalf, let Essential Aids know at the checkout and they'll donate 5% of the item price to the Stroke Association.
The British Healthcare Trades Association (BHTA) is one of the most established trade associations. You'll find the BHTA logo on the websites of member companies, on their paperwork, their vehicles, displayed in their showrooms and in lots of other places.
If a company is a member of the BHTA, they have signed up to a Code of Practice that is approved by the Chartered Trading Standards Institute. This means that you can be sure of being given the best customer care and advice to suit your needs when buying mobility equipment.
