We are a friendly group and our meetings are open to any Newham resident who has had a stroke or mini stroke and their carers.
The club promotes the welfare and interests of people who have had strokes and their family carers to share experiences and take part in activities. We provide information and support to people who have had strokes, which may assist in their rehabilitation, recovery, and regaining confidence.
Our club promotes policies which encourage independent living for people who have had strokes, living or active. We are a democratic, non-profit making, non-sectarian, association fully accessible to any member of the community in the London Borough of Newham, regardless of their residential status.
Our aim focuses on five themes: fitness, campaigning, information, leisure and social contact, as stroke can be a devastating and isolating experience.
The Newham Stroke Club meets on Monday and Wednesday.
Opening hours - Monday: 2.00pm-5.00pm and Wednesday: 2.00pm-5.00pm
