Pos+Ability offer a range of activities including chair based exercise, exercise using equipment, peer support and rehabilitation. This group is affiliated to the Stroke Association.

Session information

Sessions offer structured and focussed chair based exercise, help with memory and cognitive skills, balance and resistance work, mobility maintenance and communication and conversation support. The first session is free.

Benefits of attending the group include help maintaining levels of mobility, to enable continued independent living, personal progression, increased confidence and self-esteem, peer support and weekly respite for carers and family.

How to attend

Attendance at the group is by referral only. A referral can be made to the group via a GP, Physiotherapist, Speech and Language Therapist, or Occupational Therapist.

The group meets on Thursdays 10 - 12 and 12.30 - 2.30 at:

On Fridays at 10.30 - 12.30 at:
