STEPS - Northern Ireland provides counselling and emotional support to stroke survivors, carers and relatives. STEPS will offer stroke-specific emotional support, counselling, for those impacted by stroke who live in Northern Ireland. Our person centred sessions can support clients with issues such as mild to moderate depression, anxiety, fears and worries, grief and loss, relationships and self esteem

An assessment of your emotional needs;Support to help you understand the emotional impacts of stroke and develop emotional resilience;Counselling sessions.

This service is for stroke survivors (including TIAs/mini-strokes), and families and carers of people affected by stroke
