Description

Sheffield Emotional Support service provides counselling and emotional support to stroke survivors and their carers. Together, we can explore issues such as loss, adjustment, relationships, understanding guilt and anger, and building confidence and self-esteem.

This service offers:

An assessment of your emotional needs;Support to help you understand the emotional impacts of stroke and develop emotional resilience;Counselling sessions;The opportunity to engage with others.

Who is this service for?

This service is for stroke survivors (including TIAs/mini-strokes), and families and carers of people affected by stroke, living in Sheffield. It is available in weekly or fortnightly sessions for six to eight weeks.
