Securing your place in Team Stroke

Charity Place

To apply for one of our charity places, please complete the ‘Charity Place’ application form at the bottom of the page. Please be as detailed as possible as to why you would like to run for us and how you plan to raise your target.

We will be in touch in October to let you know if your application has been successful. Those who secure a place will need to pay a £50 registration fee and pledge to raise at least £2,000 for the Stroke Association.

Own Place

The 2020 London Marathon ballot has now closed.

If you have applied and are successful, we would love you to use your place to run with #TeamStroke.

Equally, if you have a deferred own place from 2019, a Good for Age or Running Club place, we’d love to have you run with us.

There’s no registration fee or minimum fundraising pledge when you sign up to an Own Place spot. You will receive exactly the same support as those with a charity place. However, we have a £300 minimum sponsorship requirement to attend our post-race reception.

To let us know, fill in the ‘Own Place’ registration form at the bottom of this page.

Fundraising Support

We're here to help you get the best out of your fundraising - our team is bursting with ideas to share with you and happy to offer advice. We can provide ideas, support and fundraising materials to enhance and promote your fundraising activities, including our Fundraising A-Z, sponsorship forms, balloons, information leaflets, posters and more!
