Charity place

Please complete the charity place application form at the bottom of the page as fully as possible to enhance your chances of securing one of our highly sought-after places.

We will be in touch in October to let you know if your application has been successful. Those who secure a place will need to pay a £50 registration fee and pledge to raise at least £2,000 for us.

Please set a reminder to ensure that you also apply to the ballot as we are always hugely over-subscribed for our charity places and this will increase your chances of getting a prestigious 2019 Virgin Money London Marathon place.

Your own place

Entries for the 2019 London Marathon ballot open Monday 30 April - Friday 4 May 2018. Please apply for a ballot place, selecting the Stroke Association as your preferred charity, and if you’re successful, please use your place to run with #TeamStroke.

Equally, if you have a deferred place from 2018, a Good for Age or Running Club place, we’d love to have you run with us.

There’s no registration fee or minimum fundraising pledge with everything you raise helping to fund our vital work. You will receive exactly the same support as those with a charity place. We do however have a £500 minimum sponsorship requirement to attend our post-race reception.

To let us know, fill in the 'Own place' form at the bottom of this page.

We're here to help you get the best out of your fundraising - our team is bursting with ideas to share with you and happy to offer advice. We can provide fundraising materials to enhance and promote your fundraising activities, including balloons, information leaflets, posters etc.
