What to expect on the day

Upon arrival at Mooragh Park you will check in at our registration desk located under the canopy adjacent to Costa Coffee. The registration desk will be open from 12:00pm. At 1:00pm your step out will begin, taking you on a 1 mile (approx.) walk beginning next to the Costa Coffee. You will Step Out around the beautiful Moorage Lake before returning to the canopy where your Step Out began. All out Step Out for Stroke routes are suitable for all ages and abilities including stroke survivors.

How to get there

Your Step Out for Stroke Isle of Man will be held at Mooragh Park, Park Road, Ramsey, Isle of Man

If you are driving please note there is limted parking within Mooragh Park. There is however additional parking available along Park Road and next to the Mooragh Skate Park.

If you are traveling on public transport local buses 3, 3A, 5, 5C, 5J, 6A, 6C, 16, 17, 17A, 18, 19, 19C, 20, 20A all stop a short walk away from the park in the town centre. The Manx Electric Railway also stops in the town centre.

Upon arrival at the Seafront, you will check in at our registration desk located near the Castle Kiosk, opposite the Grand Hotel. The registration desk will be open from 10am. At 11am your step out will begin, taking you on a 1 mile (approx.) walk beginning at the Castle Kiosk. You will Step Out along the seafront and return to the Castle Kiosk, where you will complete your Step Out. All our Step Out for Stroke routes are suitable for all ages and abilities including stroke survivors.

How to get there

Your Step Out for Stroke Jersey event will be held at the Seafront, St Helier, Jersey, JE2 3QA

If you are driving, please note there are a number of car parks along the seafront next to the start area.

What to expect on the day

Upon arrival at Duthie Park, you will check in at our registration desk located beside the fountain at the Riverside Drive entrance. The registration desk will be open from 9:30am. At 10:30am your step out will begin, taking you on a 1 mile (approx.) walk, beginning at the fountain next to the Riverside Drive entrance. You will follow wide paths towards the Winter Gardens before returning back through the park, passing the ponds before returning to the fountain. All our Step Out for Stroke routes are suitable for all ages and abilities, including stroke survivors.

How to get there

Your Step Out for Stroke Aberdeen will be held at: Duthie Park, Polmuir Road, Aberdeen, AB11 7WA.

If you are driving, please note there is large car parking accessed off Riverside Drive.

If you are traveling on public transport, local First Bus 17 & 18 along with Stagecoach Bus X6, X7, X8 and 204 all stop outside the park.

Upon arrival at Abbey Gardens you will check in at our registration desk located opposite the Garden Café. The registration desk will be open from 10:15am. At 11am your Step Out event will begin, taking you on a three quarter mile walk around a circular route of the beautiful Gardens. All our Step Out for Stroke routes are suitable for all ages and abilities including stroke survivors.

How to get there

Your Step Out for Stroke Bury St Edmunds will be held at Abbey Gardens, Mustow Street, Bury St Edmunds, IP33 1XL

If you are driving, the closest car park to the Abbey Gardens is Ram Meadow, Cotton Lane, IP33 1XP.  Parking costs £1.80 for 3 hours or £2.30 for the day.  There is a short walk from the car park to the Mustow Street entrance.

If you are traveling on public transport the local train station is Bury St Edmunds, this is a 5 minute drive/15 minute walk from the Abbey Gardens. Local buses 300, 304, 338, 854 all stop nearby to the Gardens.

What to expect on the day

Upon arrival at Halliwell Jones Stadium you will check in at our registration desk  which can be found through  gate 6 next to the shop.

The registration desk will be open from 10am. At 11am your step out will begin, taking you on a 1 mile (approx.) walk around the concrete area surrounding the pitch. You can walk round the stadium as many times as you like.

All our Step Out for Stroke routes are suitable for all ages and abillities, including stroke survivors.

How to get there

Your Step Out for Stroke Warrington will be held at Halliwell Jones Stadium, Warrington Wolves Rugby League Club, Mike Gregory Way, Warrington, WA2 7NE.

If you are driving parking is available at the Tesco supermarket adjacent to the stadium. If you are traveling on public transport Warrington Bus Station is a short distance from the Stadium. The nearest rail station to the stadium is Warrington Central. When leaving the station turn right, you will see the stadium ahead.

Upon arrival at Newbridge Fields you will check in at our registration desk located at in the Newbridge Fields behind Halo Leisure. The registration desk will be open from 12:30pm. At 2pm your step out will begin, taking you on a 1 mile (approx.) walk Our route follows the footpath around Newbridge Fields and is suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs. All our Step Out for Stroke routes are suitable for all ages and abilities including stroke survivors.

How to get there

Your Step Out for Stroke Bridgeend will be held on Newbridge Fields, Angel Street, Bridgend, CF31 4BW

If you are driving please not that Newbridge Fields is accessible from Angel Street and is located behind Halo Leisure Life Centre. There is limited car parking available at Halo Leisure and there is also parking available at the Rhiw Carpark which is within a short walk to the venue. Parking is free on Sundays.

If you are traveling on public transport Buses operate locally on a Sunday service timetable.
