Hosted by Action Challenge, take on the Yorkshire Challenge in the beautiful Nidderdale area, on the southeast edge of the Yorkshire Dales.

There’s a challenge base-camp hub in Pateley Bridge with a range of camping options, car parking, and extensive hospitality and welfare services over the weekend. The full 100km route is a varied figure of 8-style route, which takes in the famous Nidderdale Way, Ripley Castle, and Gouthwaite Reservoir. You’ll get full support all the way, whatever distance you choose.

Your entry includes free food and drink at regular rest stops, plus support including medics, marshals and massage. As you cross the finish line, you’ll get a glass of fizz, t-shirt, and a medal to commemorate your achievement.

Hosted by Action Challenge, a new ‘South West’ challenge for 2022 – taking in the initial section of the stunning and famous 630 mile Coastal Path, which officially starts in Minehead, and close to the extensive ‘base camp in the shadows of the impressive Dunster Castle.

The 50km loop heads over Exmoor with ups and downs and some magnificent views with over 1,600 metres of climb.  You’ll get full support all the way, whatever distance you choose, a finish line celebration, and with camping options and festival style hospitality at base camp across the weekend – there’s a South West Coast Challenge for everyone!

Challenge Information

Hosted by Action Challenge, this is a great event to walk off the Christmas celebrations, and to kick start your New Year fitness regime!

There are Full Marathon and Half Marathon options, both starting and finishing at The Oval Cricket Ground on Saturday 29 January and Sunday 30 January, and take in highlights of the Thames, its historic bridges, and many of the Capital’s key landmarks. Families are welcome, there’s a free winter bobble hat and neck buff, rest stops with snacks, with a special medal and hot food at the finish.

Please note, this Action Challenge event is strictly walking only – so no jogging or running is allowed.

Hosted by Action Challenge, from the Windsor Racecourse base camp, 1,500 adventurers will head out on looped routes through the Great Park with fantastic views of the Castle, on to Runnymede, along the Thames Path, and take in some wonderful countryside.

You’ll get full support from Action Challenge all the way, a few post Easter surprises, a celebration finish at base camp, and a BBQ meal.  It’s a great way to kick off the 2022 Ultra Challenge season, and to get in shape for summer.

Hosted by Action Challenge, the magical Cotswold Way provides a stunning setting for a testing challenge. The base-camp in Cirencester is the hub for a 100km looped route through the heart of the Cotswolds, which provides a stunning setting for 2,000 adventurers to test themselves. 

There are rolling hills, villages, the magical Cotswold Way, footpaths and trails, with some fabulous views en route – and a few tough hills in between!  You’ll get full support and hospitality, including optional university-style accommodation at Action Challenge’s base-camp, and with half and quarter distance challenges also – there’s a Cotswold Way Challenge for everyone.

Walk, jog or run it for #TeamStroke!

Back again for 2022 - walk, jog, or run the Lake District Challenge and take on England's finest countryside at your pace.  Test yourself on a fantastic Ultra Challenge - suitable for all experience levels - and you'll get the best support and hospitality all the way.

The Challenge Base Camp is in Kendal.  From there, it's a 100km anticlockwise loop taking in a couple of tough hills, Ambleside, a halfway point by Lake Windermere, forests, and nature reserves - with some stunning views on the route - before a huge welcome and celebration back at Base Camp after a momentous journey.  Push yourself further - 100km full challenge, with half and quarter options also available.

2,000 adventurers of all experience levels and ages will take on a classic capital to coast route, testing their grit over the Bank Holiday weekend.  Most will walk, but many will jog or run the full 100km, and with half and quarter distance options - there's a challenge for everyone. 

A Richmond start by the Thames, then the North Downs and wonderful Surrey and Sussex countryside to halfway at Turners Hill. The 100km route heads up and over the South Downs before the welcome sight of the Brighton coastline comes into view.
