What is Amazon Smile?

Amazon Smile is a website operated by Amazon. It features the same products at the same prices as the standard Amazon site. The only difference is, when you shop on Amazon Smile, the Amazon Smile Foundation will donate 0.5% of the cost of all eligible products to your chosen charity.

There are millions of eligible products available – look out for ‘Eligible for smile.amazon.co.uk’ on the product’s details page.

How do I sign up to Amazon Smile?

To sign up, visit Amazon Smile on your computer, mobile or tablet and click ‘Start shopping’.

If you’ve already got an Amazon account, simply log in to your account and follow the instructions below.

How to use Amazon Smile on a web browser:

1 - Visit Amazon Smile.

2 - Sign in with the same account you use for Amazon.com.

3 - Select ‘Stroke Association’ when prompted.

4 - Start shopping! Remember to check out at smile.amazon.com to generate donations for your chosen charity.
Tip: Add a bookmark to make it easier to shop at Amazon Smile.

How to use Amazon Smile using the Amazon app on your mobile phone:

1 - Open the Amazon Shopping app.

2 - Navigate to the main menu (=).

3 - Tap on Settings and then select “Amazon Smile”.

4 - Select your charity and then follow the on-screen instructions to turn ON Amazon Smile in the mobile app.

5 - Once Amazon Smile has been activated in your app, future eligible app purchases will generate a donation for the charity you have selected.

How much of my purchase does Amazon.co.uk donate?

Amazon Smile will donate 0.5% of the net purchase price (excluding VAT, returns and shipping fees) of your eligible Amazon Smile purchases. Shopping with Amazon Smile doesn’t cost you, or your chosen charity, any extra.
