This year’s Give a Hand and Bake has caused a stir amongst baking celebrities. These fantastic bakers all want to share their support and recipes to help us raise vital funds for stroke research to change the story for stroke survivors.

We'd like to thank each and every one of them. Here they tell us why they're supporting our Give a Hand and Bake campaign and they've given us some yummy recipes for you to download.

I've baked for everyone from Royalty to rock stars, but it was a real honour to share my favourite recipe with you all for the Stroke Association's Give A Hand and Bake fundraising campaign. It's an easy and delightful recipe that will make holding a bake sale a piece of cake. I hope you will try it and raise lots of much-needed funds for this fantastic charity to help change the story for people affected by stroke.

I am delighted to donate my recipe to support the Stroke Association's Give a Hand and Bake campaign. This wonderful Lemon Cake has been enjoyed by my many guests at Belmond Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons for more than 25 years - and I promise it will be enjoyed by yours too! So please support the wonderful work done by the Stroke Association and get baking!

I was shocked to learn that stroke is the third most common cause of death in Scotland and the leading cause of disability. Research can help save lives and prevent stroke but it’s still the killer disease that we’ve ignored for too long. That’s why I’ve chosen to back the Stroke Association’s Give a Hand and Bake campaign, which aims to raise much needed funds for stroke research. I’m sharing one of favourite and easiest recipes so that you can all get involved and raise money for this wonderful charity.
