What is Make May Purple for stroke?

Make May Purple for stroke is our annual stroke awareness month, taking place every May. Friends, families and communities are invited to show their support for people who have been affected by stroke.

How your support helps

Across the UK more than a million people are rebuilding their lives after stroke, and the number of people affected by stroke is set to rise. By supporting Make May Purple, you can help us invest in research that will help to save lives and enable stroke survivors to make the best possible recovery – giving more people more of their lives back.

Get involved with Make May Purple and help to change the story for stroke survivors.
