You don’t have to be a distance walker – people of all levels of fitness can join in the fun. However you choose to do it, you’ll be raising vital funds for stroke survivors and their families.
Your marathon, your challenge, your way
You can walk the whole 26.2 miles in one go, do it over a few days or spread the distance over a two-week period. It’s as easy as that.
You choose when and where you walk. You set the pace and you decide if you’d like to walk alone or with others. You can even set your own fundraising target.
All we ask is that you complete the challenge between 17 June and 1 July 2018.
And of course, we hope you’ll encourage your friends and family to sponsor you. Together we can all take giant steps towards improving care and recovery for stroke survivors throughout the UK.

Why you should take part
It may surprise you to know that more than 70% of stroke survivors will suffer lower leg weakness or paralysis that can last for days, weeks, or even months after their stroke. Many face a long, painful recovery learning to walk again, while others are left with lifelong disabilities.
