As we are a charity, our work relies heavily on the generosity of our supporters. Our Events Fundraisers support a range of fundraising events in their local area to ensure we can continue to support stroke survivors.

As an Events Fundraiser, you will assist at event cheering points to support participants, set up, run stands at events, and register participants at events.

You will act as route marshal, man checkpoints at events and help to promote events and activities by putting up posters, distributing leaflets and through social media.

This is a Marshall role, to assist with the delivery of an enjoyable and safe experience for Step out for Stroke 2019. You will maintain a high level of customer care and provide practical assistance both inside and outside the venue. We need 10 people aged over 18 for 5 to 6 hours.

Volunteer at a Resolution Run

We are looking for a number of volunteers to act as Event Marshals at a number of our Resolution Run events. 

Tasks for the role can include:

  • assisting at event cheering points to support participants
  • setting up and running stands
  • registering participants
  • acting as route marshals and manning checkpoints.
