Supporting stroke survivors

We have a range of volunteer roles, from communication support to driving, which provides direct, face-to-face support to stroke survivors across our UK network.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, some of these volunteering opportunities are not currently available or are being delivered in different ways. Please visit our volunteering opportunities page to find out what roles are currently available.

Here For You telephone support service: if you're a stroke survivor and might be interested in providing telephone support to other stroke survivors who're feeling isolated or lonely, then you could apply to support our Here For You service.

Raising awareness of stroke

Fundraisers: now more than ever, we need to continue raising vital funds, and though we may not have traditional volunteering opportunities available, such as our bucket collections, you can still help.

Please contact our Supporter Care Team on 0300 3300 740 or visit our virtual events page to see how.

Stroke Ambassadors: we are not currently recruiting new Stroke Ambassadors.

Supporting our work

We have a number of volunteering opportunities that support the day-to-day running of our charity. These can include roles that offer administrative assistance.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, some of these volunteering opportunities are not currently available or are being delivered in different ways. Please visit our volunteering opportunities page to find out what roles are currently available.

Supporting our voluntary groups

We're developing some new roles that offer remote-based support to our voluntary group members. Once these opportunities become available we'll provide more information about them on our volunteering opportunities page.
