Many families choose to support the Stroke Association through funeral giving and in memory donations. This may be through setting up a Tribute Fund or other giving page, through cash collections or through donations in lieu of flowers.

Funeral giving is incredibly important to the Stroke Association, without them we simply couldn’t do the work we do. We’re extremely grateful for the support that funeral professionals show us – both independently and on behalf of their clients.

Our aim is to make collecting donations as simple as possible and we hope the information below is helpful.

Tribute Funds

Our online Tribute Funds provide friends and families with a place to share memories, photos and videos of their loved one and donate at a time of their choosing. It’s a lasting way to honour a loved one’s memory and also makes it easy to organise future fundraising events.

Online Giving

More and more people are choosing to remember their loved one through online giving. JustGiving pages and MuchLoved Remembrance Funds are popular ways to do this, enabling friends and family to share photos, stories and donate in memory.

Funeral Collection Envelopes

By encouraging Gift Aid envelopes to be used at memorial services, funeral professionals help us to receive an additional 25p for every pound donated. The simplest way to enable this is by informing families of our collection envelopes or ordering them from our Supporter Care Team, by phoning 0300 3300 740 or emailing

Paying in collection by post

At this current time, the processing of any donations made by post will be delayed, so please do pay in your donations online or contact us by phone

  • The name of the person the donation is being made in memory of.
  • Your name, address and relationship to the person the donation is being made in memory of.

Please send all cheques and collection envelopes to:
