Join our online activities, which can help support you in your recovery - however long you’ve been living with stroke.

About online activities

We offer a wide range of free activities. From sessions where you can learn more about the effects of stroke to a stroke exercise group, social quizzes and more, including a dedicated group for people aged 18-45. View our timetable to see what’s on. These activities are for anyone affected by stroke in the UK, which includes the Crown dependency islands of Isle of Man and the Channel Islands.

You can connect with people who’ve had a stroke, and their families. They can help you understand what you’re going through. You can also share your tips and experiences. This can help you to manage your recovery.

People tell us they understand more about stroke and feel more confident after joining these sessions.

‘’This morning's session was fab. My spirit was uplifted after and I felt boosted both physically and mentally’’

‘‘The ‘Me and My Stroke’ sessions have been great. There was quite a bit mum and I both learnt and lots of things she could identify with. It was also very informative listening to the rest of the group’’.

‘’I have been finding it difficult to get motivated to exercise again but everyone was so positive in the group which has encouraged me to keep going’’.

If you want to find out more about each session, take a look at our Online Activities booklet.

To join in an activity, you’ll need a good internet connection and a PC, laptop, tablet or smartphone, plus a valid email address. You’ll also need to download a free App called Zoom. If you’re not confident using Zoom, don’t worry, we can help you get started.

Once you’ve signed-up, you’ll get a welcome email with everything you need to know, including information on how to join an activity.

The sessions are a great way to meet new people, feel more supported and can help increase your confidence. All from the comfort of your own home.
