Last week we held our 12th UK Stroke Club Conference at East Midlands Conference Centre in Nottingham.

This two day event brought together colleagues who organise and volunteer at over 80 stroke clubs and groups across the UK. These are vital in promoting the wellbeing and recovery of stroke survivors and supporting all those affected by stroke.

The conference was an excellent opportunity for attendees to network, and connect with their peers, and find out about the latest developments that could support them.

Laura Piercy, our Research Engagement Manager was there on day two. She  shared information about our initiatives in Patient and Public Involvement in research (PPI) advising on how those affected by stroke can have their say on the research that we fund.
