Our Service User Review Panel (SURP) is a team of people affected by stroke, and work with us to:

  • Help shape the future direction of our research funding.
  • Participate in the review of research to decide what we fund.
  • Work with and advise researchers as they develop their projects and funding applications.
  • Helped us shape our Priority Programme Awards.

This week, we ran our first dedicated SURP training day. It was an opportunity for SURP members new and longer serving to receive the latest guidance in lay review, and to network too. The session was delivered by our Research Engagement Officer, Laura Piercy, and raised a range of ideas and feedback about what more we can do together in the future.
