We're incredibly excited to be returning to Liverpool in 2024 for a face-to-face 19th UK Stroke Forum conference at ACC Liverpool.

Following another record-breaking year in Birmingham, we hope you can join us again as we continue to strive to offer you the best conference experience possible. We'd love to see you there for hands-on learning, reconnecting, peer-to-peer engagement and to discover the latest ground-breaking research in the field of stroke. Further information will be available shortly with registration opening in mid-July.

About

The UK Stroke Forum is the UK's largest multidisciplinary conference for stroke care professionals.

Our aim is to provide opportunities for all stroke professionals and researchers to come together so they can learn from each other, share ideas and ultimately improve standards of care for stroke survivors.

Due to the pandemic and in line with government guidance, during 2020 – 2021 the UK Stroke Forum had to adapt and transform into an innovative virtual learning environment. These virtual conferences have been highly acclaimed, boasting world-class renowned speakers and ground-breaking parallel sessions. We have been joined live or on-demand by over 1,800 delegates annually, with our top-class virtual programme allowing content to be accessed at any time, by a wealth of attendees from across the globe.

2022 saw our first return to an in-person conference post-Covid and we were delighted to be joined in Liverpool by a record-breaking number of delegates, sponsors and exhibitors.

After a record-breaking year in 2023, where we welcomed over 1800 healthcare professionals to Birmingham, we are extremely excited to be heading back to a place we call home: ACC Liverpool. Join us to share more unmissable ground-breaking research, face-to-face learning opportunities and exciting workshops for all stroke professionals and researchers. Delegates will be able to come together, network and collaborate on the issues that matter most across the stroke care pathway.

Our team will be working closely with ACC Liverpool to ensure the safety and well-being of delegates at our UK Stroke Forum event.

The UK Stroke Forum is privileged to have always attracted a host of world-class speakers and leading physicians, including Chris Whitty in 2021, who headlined the open plenary.

Although the 2024 event is in person, we will add digital elements where possible, including a conference app, online e-posters, and recording of selected sessions, for greater accessibility.

UK Stroke Forum Coalition

The UK Stroke Forum is a coalition of 31 organisations, all committed to improving stroke care in the UK. The coalition is underwritten by the Stroke Association and the British and Irish Association of Stroke Physicians.

CPD points

The UK Stroke Forum is accredited through the Federation of the Royal Colleges of Physicians.

CPD points will be awarded per hour; last year we had a total of 18 points available. These were awarded for attending live sessions and for those delegates accessing the on-demand content.

Once this year's programme has been authorised, we will confirm the number of CPD points available.
