Improving Stroke Care and Outcomes - Learning from national and local system partnerships
As part of the Stroke Community of Best Practice, the Stroke Association is hosting a full-day event on 30 January 2020 to share knowledge and learning from partnership working to improve the lives of those affected by stroke across England. There will be a chance to hear the latest on the National Stroke Programme and the emerging Integrated Stroke Delivery Networks (ISDNs). You'll also hear from local systems first-hand about their experiences over the last year working in partnership to deliver change, including with the voluntary sector.
There will also be a panel of expert speakers from across local ICSs, NHS England and Improvement, the Stroke Association and those affected by stroke, who will be reflecting on the changes in the stroke landscape over the past year, and what future changes might mean for them.
This is an opportunity for professionals working within stroke care across the NHS, social care, research and the voluntary sector to come together and support their local systems accelerate delivery of the stroke priorities set out in the Long Term Plan. The event also offers a great networking opportunity for those right across the stroke pathway.
