For details on how to get to ACC Liverpool, please visit the venue website.

Who puts the conference programme together?

The UK Stroke Forum Steering Group members shape and direct the activities of the Forum and meet approximately three times a year.

It is the Conference Scientific Programme Committee's role to develop the programme and content of the annual conference.

How can I register for the conference?

Registration will be opening from 18 July 2022, please visit our registration page to book.

We recommend booking early to save 15% with our Early Bird rates!

Early bird prices will be available until midnight on Wednesday 31 August 2022.

Is the event CPD accredited?

Delegates will benefit from CPD accreditation and certificates will be emailed following the event. We are in the process of finalising accreditation but this is usually 18 CPD points.

Can I pay by invoice? How do groups book?

Bookings for one or two delegates must be made online and payment is with credit or debit card only.

Groups of three or more delegates can register online; they can pay by card or are able to request an invoice until 28 October 2022.

To book a group of three or more online, please follow the below steps. Please read fully before attempting to book:

  • Access the registration link via our registration page.
  • Enter the details of the first delegate you wish to register.
  • Select 'Add Colleague' button.
  • Keep adding the details for each additional colleague until you are done. After your last colleague is entered, (instead of choosing add colleague again) there will be a choice to pay by card or enter invoice details - choose the option you prefer.
  • The option to pay by invoice will only appear once the threshold of three delegates is reached (Please note the invoice feature will be disabled from 28 October 2022, after this date, all payments must be made by card).
  • Please ensure you have a Purchase Order number ready to add to your invoice request as we are unable to invoice without this, and your booking will be invalidated.
  • Once your request is submitted, the delegates will be registered and the invoice request will automatically be sent to our finance team. A confirmation email should be received by each member of your booking.
  • Please note the registration form doesn't save your progress, so delegate groups will need to be registered in one sitting. Asking your colleagues to complete a booking form each first may be useful (pages 1-3) so all the booking information is to hand before you input this information into our online form.
  • Groups of five or more will receive an additional 5% discount on their delegate rates, which will be deducted automatically at checkout
  • If you are struggling with your registration and need help with making your booking, registering your delegates or have any questions, please email ukstrokeforum@stroke.org.uk

  • Refreshments and lunches.
  • Access to the conference app, any conference materials.
  • Participation in wellness activities (some have maximum capacities).

How much does it cost to attend the 2022 conference?

The registration fees for this year's conference have been marginally increased. This is due to the increased costs associated with our suppliers, additional covid protocols at the ACC and new costs that will allow delegates to watch recordings of selected sessions from the event, via our conference app.

Are day delegate rates available?

Not this year - delegate rates are based on all three days.

How do I qualify for discounted (member) registration fees?

If I am selected to present an abstract, which category of delegate fee am I entitled to?

Normal delegate rates apply, however, all successful abstract applicants will be notified in August, so authors can take advantage of registering before our discounted early bird rate closes at midnight on 31 August 2022. We regret that we are unable to cover expenses for authors selected to present abstracts or posters.

Are there any social events?

This year, there will be a number of social and well-being events that will run during the conference, including:

UKSF After Dark drinks reception

5.30 pm on Tuesday 29 November 2022 in the exhibition hall

This will combine networking, learning (an evening with) and of course, the opportunity for delegates to grab a drink and socialise with peers. This is open free to all delegates, do join us! (There might even be an opportunity to watch the World Cup!)

UKSF social event

7 pm on Wednesday 30 November 2022 at Panam.

Tickets to the social event at Panam can be booked during the registration process or will be available to book separately via the registration page of our website shortly. Tickets are limited and available on a first come first served basis.

Entry includes three drinks per person, bowl food buffet, DJ and great opportunities to network the night away!

We have negotiated some excellent accommodation rates in Liverpool. To take advantage, you can book your accommodation online via our agent, Reservation Highway.

If you are an invited speaker who is entitled to accommodation, we will email you instructions of how to book your speaker accommodation closer to the event. Should you be unsure of your entitlement or have any questions, please email ukstrokeforum@stroke.org.uk
