Stroke is a leading cause of death and adult disability. Care is complex, therefore stroke research has many disciplines.
The Stroke Priority Setting Partnership worked with over 1400 people affected by stroke and care professionals, to establish priority areas for research across the stroke care pathway.
These are areas where questions about healthcare cannot be answered by existing research.
These priorities must be taken forward to direct funds and increased investment in research that can make the greatest difference to peoples' lives.
