Getting active isn’t always easy but it’s never too late to start and even small increases in physical activity can have a big impact in reducing our stroke risk.

 

Knowing where to start can often be the hardest thing so we share our tips on getting started, including how setting a goal can be the first step.

 

If you’re looking for inspiration, see how 78-year-old Sue’s 50 step challenge helped her get her independence back after a stroke left her unable to walk. For Donna, it was being able to walk down the aisle at her dream wedding and for Bruce it was getting back to an old hobby.
