We organise the largest multidisciplinary stroke conference and exhibition in the UK, bringing together professionals from all stages of the stroke pathway to learn the latest developments in research and practice.
Over 3500 delegates attended the 2nd European Stroke Organisation Conference (ESOC 2016) today in Barcelona. Today’s program included teaching courses, scientific presentations, an official welcome from the ESOC President Professor Kennedy Lees and from Professor Angel Chamorro, and presentations from major clinical trials.
The second day of ESOC highlighted the value of collaborations between professional societies and patient representatives for the advancement of stroke care. It saw the launch of the Stroke Action for Europe (2018-2030), a major collaborative initiative between the principal professional and patient organisations setting ambitious targets for stroke care over the next decade.
The first day of the European Stroke Organisation Conference (ESOC) 2017 in Prague included some truly inspiring scientific sessions. These included reporting from the DAWN study which suggests that more patients could be able to receive mechanical thrombectomy after stroke.
The International Stroke Conference (ISC) is the world's largest meeting dedicated to the science and treatment of stroke and its effects.
