Friday 29 October 2021 is World Stroke Day and, as a part of our Hope After Stroke campaign, we’re spreading a message of hope.

Eva Park is a virtual world where stroke survivors can do things like go to a health centre, a hairdresser or a cafe, and connect with other users. It was specifically designed for stroke survivors with a communication problem called aphasia.

The Stroke Association has funded research into treatments that have improved care for stroke patients in hospital, giving them the best chance of rebuilding their life after stroke.

Fitzroy was working as an Operations Manager in 2015. He had been with his organisation for more than 29 years until he suddenly had a funny turn. From that moment, his life changed forever.
