We're excited to annouce our recent partnership with Game of Thrones actor Emilia Clarke and her charity SameYou. Newly founded SameYou aims to transform recovery care for young adults following hospital treatment for brain injury and stroke.

Dr Paul Kasher is the Stroke Association HRH The Princess Margaret Lecturer at the University of Manchester. We’re delighted to say that Dr Kasher has been granted a Springboard award by the Academy of Medical Sciences to support his research.

We have appointed Ceri Jackson as the charity’s newest trustee in Wales. Ceri has 25 years’ experience working in the third sector and with healthcare systems across the UK in consultant, executive and non-executive roles.

Working with the charity A Stroke of Luck, which specialises in exercise-based recovery for stroke survivors, our new videos offer three levels of difficulty and will cover different aspects of movement and physical activity. Each video is led by a qualified physiotherapist.
