LEGS (London Exercise Group for Stroke) provides specialist group exercise in a supportive and enjoyable environment for people who have experienced a stroke.
If you've already had a stroke or transient ischaemic attack (TIA or mini-stroke), or if you've been told that you may be at high risk of stroke, we're here to help.
The Dunmow & District Stroke Support Group welcomes new members. The club offers a variety of activities including social support, speakers, communication support, outing and meals, games and quizzes.
Exercise is also provided under the supervision of a qualified physiotherapist.
The Ipswich Morning Stroke Club welcomes membership from people affected by stroke in the area. The club provides peer support and offers social and recreational activities including games, conversation, outings, talks and presentations by visiting speakers.
Pos+Ability offer a range of activities including chair based exercise, exercise using equipment, peer support and rehabilitation. Attendance at the group is by referral only, which can be made via a GP, Physiotherapist, Speech and Language Therapist, or Occupational Therapist.
This club meets on the second and fourth Thursday of each month. The club has regular speakers and exercise sessions, and is open for people affected by stroke and their carers.
The West Kent Stroke Group is a Stroke Association voluntary group.
Ceredigion Stroke Recovery Service provides high quality information, practical advice and emotional support following a stroke. Whether you are a stroke survivor, carer or family member, we will begin working with you after a stroke. We will continue to provide the support you need, both at home and in the wider community.
The West Norfolk Health and Wellbeing Stroke Group provides hydrotherapy which is by referral only, please contact Gemma Smith for more information.
The Hull Active Stroke Group is a Stroke Association affiliated stroke group that offers various activities to its members including gentle exercise and games such as boccia and curling.
