The group supports stroke survivors and their partners in the Worksop/Derbyshire areas. The group provides social and communication support, speakers, outings and hold a raffle at their meetings. Our working age stroke support group in Ashford offers a friendly, informal environment for peer support. We discuss and share ideas for moving forward after being affected by stroke. Our volunteers always welcome new members and offer vital support to our group.

The Preston Life After Stroke Support Group is the main social contact point between Stroke Association staff, volunteers and stroke survivors in the Preston area. We drink tea and coffee, eat biscuits and cake in a relaxed community atmosphere. There are regularly guest speakers who come and talk about stroke-related information.
The Aphasia Café is a safe place for people living with aphasia to socialise and chat with one another.
