Take action on stroke and join others affected by stroke and aphasia at the UK Stroke Assembly Northern Ireland. This interactive and inspiring conference includes talks and workshops delivered by stroke survivors and stroke professionals.
Our first UK Stroke Assembly event in Northern Ireland took place on Monday 8 April 2019 at the Glenavon House Hotel, Cookstown. 144 stroke survivors, carers, volunteers and stroke professionals attended this inspirational event, sharing experiences with like-minded people, influencing decision-makers and taking action on stroke.
The UK Stroke Assembly South was held on 3-4 July at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Stansted Airport. It was another great success, with over 160 people
attending over the two days.
Over 150 stroke survivors, carers, volunteers and stroke professionals attended the UK Stroke Assembly North (30-31 May in Crewe). The aim of the event is to give a voice to people affected by stroke and aphasia, providing an opportunity to meet with and influence decision makers.
This year, the UK Stroke Assembly North event was held in Manchester. On day two, the morning plenary was all about stroke research, including how patients can get involved in shaping it.
