Speakability Self-Help Groups are run by and for people with Aphasia - language-loss following stroke, head injury or other neurological condition.
At our meetings we support each other, share experiences, make new friends, rebuild self-confidence and develop new skills.
The Brecon Stroke Association Neuro Cafe is a Stroke Association voluntary group that offers social and communication support including activities such as games and quizzess, and ocassional speakers.
We are looking for two innovative, passionate and professional individuals with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills to join our Stroke Association Service in Surrey working in East Surrey and North West Surrey.
Last week, our lecturers attended two training days at our head office, at Stroke Association House, London. These form part of a schedule of activity designed to ensure they have the skills, and support needed to succeed in becoming the next generation of research leaders.
