Action on Stroke Month 2015

Action on Stroke Month 2015 was a huge success, with hundereds of you getting involved to Make May Purple for Stroke.

We'd like to say a huge thank you to everyone who got involved and helped make this the best Action on Stroke Month yet.

From baking cupcakes and planting purple flowers, to stepping out in purple t-shirts and wigs, we loved seeing everything you got up to in Action on Stroke Month!

We've put together a gallery of our favourite photos on our Facebook page - you can take a look here.

Working age stroke

Stroke is closer than you think. In May 2015, Action on Stroke Month focused on working age stroke. The number of strokes occurring in men aged between 40 and 54 has rocketed by almost 50% in less than 15 years, yet many younger people are still unaware that they are at risk of stroke.
