Stroke Training from the Stroke Association is your one-stop shop for all your stroke training and qualification needs. We provide specialised stroke training, that has been awarded the Skills for Health Quality Mark, for anyone providing care and support to those affected, or at risk of stroke. If you work in health or social care, or care for a family member or friend who has had a stroke, we have a course that will suit you. This includes:
The training we provide is based on the Stroke Specific Education Framework (SSEF) guidelines for training and is endorsed by the UK Stroke Forum Education and Training. We use stroke survivors throughout our training to ensure that it is accurate and meets their needs.
We are also one of the first organisations to receive the Skills for Health Quality Mark as a provider, which provides a framework that defines and endorses superior learning and training standards that healthcare employers need to cultivate a world-class workforce.
We are passionate about our training and committed to driving up stroke care standards. We have extensive experience and knowledge of stroke through our work and many relationships with stroke survivors, carers and their families.
Our training team is based at the Life After Stroke Centre in Bromsgrove, but carries out training across the whole of the UK

In addition to our full-time stroke trainers, we have a team of Associate Trainers based in our Stroke Association offices throughout the UK. They carry out training around their everyday jobs within the Stroke Association.
