Malden physiotherapist, Christine Brown, was presented with a Professional Excellence Award, sponsored by Omron.

Christine from Wicham Bishops received her award in recognition of her commitment to helping stroke survivors in her community.

Christine, a clinical specialist physiotherapist, has worked in the stroke rehabilitation unit at St Peter’s Hospital in Malden for 10 years and with neuro-outpatients in the hospital for seven years before that.

Lost for Words is a campaign to raise awareness and funds to enable the Stroke Association to support people who struggle with communication after a stroke. This year’s Life After Stroke Awards supported this campaign. Text ‘Stroke Awards’ to 70500 to donate £5.
