Every five minutes, stroke destroys lives.

Stroke is a medical emergency. It can happen to anyone, of any age, at any time. The impact can be devastating, costing people their ability to move, communicate and lead their everyday lives.

Two thirds of people who survive a stroke find themselves living with a disability. And 40% of stroke survivors experience anxiety and depression.

The effects of a stroke mean many people have to give up jobs they love. Often relatives have to give up work as well, to take on a caring role.

There is hope, thanks to the unique support that we provide.

We are the UK's largest charity dedicated to helping with the emotional, practical and financial cost of stroke.

We fund research into ongoing rehabilitation that could help stroke survivors live fuller, happier lives. And we provide specialist support and campaign to make sure people affected by stroke get the very best care.

We need your help so we can reach more stroke survivors who need us.

  • £10 a month could help us plan our work in advance and commit to more life-changing research.
  • £7 a month could help fund a researcher looking for new ways to help people rebuild their lives after stroke.
  • £5 a month could help run focus groups so stroke survivors can have a say on the future of strroke rehabilitation.

Regular gifts enable us to plan our critical work in advance. By giving a small amount on a regular basis, you give us the confidence to commit to long-term projects, like funding pioneering research and crucial stroke services, knowing that we will have the funds available to support them into the future.

Please donate today and help more stroke survivors and their loved ones get the support they desperately need.

Thank you.
