Every five minutes, stroke destroys lives.

Stroke can cost people their ability to move, communicate and lead their everyday lives. Many survivors experience anxiety and depression.

The effects of a stroke mean many people have to give up working, and often relatives have to give up work as well to take on a caring role.

But there is hope, thanks to the unique support we provide. We are the UK’s largest charity dedicated to improving the lives of stroke survivors and their families. We want to reach every stroke survivor, and help them receive the emotional, practical and financial support they need.

Stroke changes everything, but so can our support.
