Our Community Integration Service has a variety of groups to help people reconnect with their local community, and gain peer support and encouragement to access the resources on hand.
This service is for stroke survivors (including TIAs/mini-strokes), and families and carers of people affected by stroke.
A safe, comfortable place to meet;Peer support;Advice and information;Friendship networks;The opportunity to practise communication and gain confidence;Assistance with accessing local leisure and social activities;Signposting to other organisations that could help;Support for carers.
