Stroke support groups are a safe and supportive space to try things again, to learn more about stroke and self-care and to build your confidence as you rebuild your life after stroke. Stroke support groups meet in different ways, some are meeting face to face, others are providing support online. Cardiff and the Vale Day Service aims to help stroke survivors achieve independence through support and goal setting. We can provide high quality information, practical advice and emotional support following a stroke.
Our Stroke Recovery Service and Communication Support can work with stroke survivors and their close network, to help identify support needs and priorities after stroke. Our services can offer the opportunity to rebuild confidence, and help rebuild life after stroke.
